The Process

  • We’ll start by showing you our selection of chains and charms in sterling silver and 14k gold filled. You can keep it simple with a single chain, stack multiple, or add a charm/connector for something more personal.

  • Once you’ve chosen, we’ll measure and custom-fit the piece to your wrist, ankle, or neck. Then, with a quick, painless spark, we’ll weld the ends together — no clasp, no fuss. The whole process takes just a few minutes.

  • Permanent jewelry is made to be lived in — you can shower, sleep, swim, and work out with it. To keep your piece looking its best:

    • Sterling Silver: Silver naturally oxidizes over time, which can cause slight darkening or tarnish (especially with chlorine, saltwater, or lotions). To brighten it, gently clean with a silver polishing cloth or a mild soap-and-water solution. Keeping silver pieces away from harsh chemicals will also slow tarnishing.

    • 14k Gold Filled: Gold is more durable and resistant to tarnish, but it can collect everyday buildup (like soap or lotion). To clean, simply use a soft cloth or mild soap-and-water rinse.

    ✦ If your piece ever needs to be removed, it can be clipped at the jump ring and re-welded later.

  • Not at all! We protect your skin with a small strip of leather during the weld, so you won’t feel a thing. The process is quick, safe, and completely comfortable.

  • Your piece is designed to last for years. With sterling silver or 14k gold, it should stay beautiful through daily wear. Just keep in mind that lifestyle, snagging, or pulling can cause it to break — if it does, many pieces can be re-welded.

  • Absolutely! We offer a variety of chain styles, metals, and charms so you can create something personal to your taste. We’ll go over all your options at your appointment so you’ll leave with a piece you truly love.

  • Yes — permanent jewelry is meant to be lived in! You can shower, swim, and work out with it on. Just rinse and dry gently if exposed often to saltwater or chlorine, especially with sterling silver.

  • Yes! While it’s called “permanent,” removal is easy — just snip the jump ring with scissors or wire cutters. If you save the chain, we can usually re-weld it for you later. This is also useful if you need it removed for medical procedures like MRIs.

  • Permanent jewelry may not be the best fit if you have strong metal allergies, very sensitive skin, or upcoming medical procedures that won’t allow you to wear metal. If you’re unsure, reach out before booking and we’ll guide you.
